If I were to make a list of the most talented people by specialty, Matthew Finlason would probably… no I think definitely be my choice for home staging! He’s so good and so very creative he knocks my socks off every time.

The award winning host of HGTV’s television series ‘The Stagers’, Matthew is renowned for staging and transforming interiors.. into show suites that has established him as the premiere home-staging expert in both the design community and the real estate industry.”
I started following Matthew Finlason’s designs and became a fan right after watching the first episode of HGTV’s Stagers show. I immediately fell in love with his artistic style and hip approach to staging and how he creates a story and a lifestyle out of the most dull spaces. I am always impressed by his eye for art and how he chooses just the perfect art pieces for a room be it a funky chair, a gorgeous lamp, or a mesmerizing painting you just can’t take your eyes off of…. And most of all he has the most warm, unpretentious, and inviting personality and a super entertaining energy that watching him on the screen is simply a breath of fresh air!

One of my super duper always-makes-me-happy colors. Very serene and joyful… and offers so many color matching options when you design with it. Mix it with browns, blacks, whites, yellows, pinks, oranges…. goes well with so many colors and looks good on anything: a dress, a bed, a cake, a door, a sofa, a rug…….. seriously, everything I can think of right now!

Julianne Moore’s West Village Townhouse

Jullianne Moore – not only a talented actress but also, going by the images of her self-decorated 5-story west village townhouse in NY, a great decorator. The house was designed in a very comfy and chic way while still preserving its original architectural beauty. I love the neutral color tones and the mixed style furniture and accents. Last I checked this house was up for sale if you’re interested!

Joseph Stabilito is one of New York’s top interior designers/artists. He has a unique taste and a great eye for design and color. His style in a nutshell is a combination of – and I quote his philosophy – classic lines and bold strokes! Joseph exhibited his work over the years throughout the United States and Europe and his design projects were featured in several publications including Architectural Digest and Country Living Magazine.
I had the honor to work with Joseph for a while during my time in New York and it was such a delight! I was fascinated by his artistic attention to every detail and how he brought out the beauty of the otherwise ordinary elements in a room. Joseph Stabilito is a design encyclopedia. He is very resourceful, inspiring, and can always so effortlessly bring his clients to envisage his vision for their spaces and work with them towards creating spaces that are strikingly classy and personal.
